Education Hours Worked and Earnings
Each of the following profiles is an Excel-based tool based on place of work that examines aspects of national, State/Territory and regional labour markets using Census data in graphical format. These files all use macros to process and display their data - macros must be enabled within your Microsoft Excel security settings for these profiles to work.
Education and Training Profiles - Working Population

The table on the first tab of this file provides education and training data for the people who work in any selected DEEWR Employment Service Area (ESA), Labour Market Region (LMR), State or Territory, or in Australia as a whole. The numbers who reported holding a non-school qualifcation of any kind are broken down by level of qualification, while the remainder of the working population are dissected by the highest level of school completed.
The chart on the second tab gives a graphical presentation of the education and training profile of the people who work in the selected area, using the same categories. The percentages of workers in each education and training category are compared to the national profile.

The chart on the third tab compares ESAs, LMRs or States and Territories within the selected region. It compares the proportions of the local workforce with any selected level of training or educational attainment, using the same categories as the table.
‘Hours Worked’ Profiles - Working Population

The table on the first tab of this file provides data on the hours worked in Census week by people who work in any selected DEEWR Employment Service Area (ESA), Labour Market Region (LMR), State or Territory, or in Australia as a whole.
On the second tab, the first chart presents an ‘hours worked’ profile of the people who work in any selected DEEWR Employment Service Area (ESA), Labour Market Region (LMR), or State/Territory, expresssed as the percentages of total employment in each 'hours worked' category. This profile is compared with the profile for Australia as a whole.

The second chart compares the percentages of people who worked 35 hours or more in Census week in the local workforce of the each of the ESAs, LMRs or States and Territories within the selected region.

Individual Income Profiles - Working Population

The table on the first tab of this file provides data on the usual individual gross income (from all sources) of the people who work in any selected DEEWR Employment Service Area (ESA), Labour Market Region (LMR), State or Territory, or in Australia as a whole.
On the second tab, the first chart presents an individual income profile of the people who work in any selected DEEWR Employment Service Area (ESA), Labour Market Region (LMR), or State/Territory, expresssed as the percentages of total employment in each individual income category. This profile is compared with the profile for Australia as a whole.

The second chart compares the percentages of people people whose gross income was $800 per week or more in the local workforce of the each of the ESAs, LMRs or States and Territories within the selected region.
